Saw sneak preview of Looking for Eric, Ken Loach's new movie, last night. I can't find it on Amazon so maybe it hasn't made it to the US yet. We went with friends from Manchester, where the movie is filmed, and we all enjoyed it. Perhaps not a "must" but I do recommend it.
Well the news is very disturbing but things are still quiet where we are.
I joined Vox (then beta) when the Second Lebanon War began and now it seems the logical place to keep you updated, too.
One never knows, but for the moment we are hoping everything will be okay in the north and that some kind of new arrangement with Gaza will be achieved much faster than last time (with Lebanon).
No pearls of wisdom at the moment - the situation was impossible but I am not sure this is the answer.

The last time it snowed in Rosh Pina was in the winter of 1992, almost exactly 16 years ago. This time there was much less snow. It has been cold and rainy for several days but it only got cold enough for snow towards the end of the storm. So we woke up to a white lawn and very slippery porch, but it was all gone by the late morning.
It was Lady's first snow ever. She was puzzled but seemed to like it.
